The Grand Hotel Imperiale, built in the early 1900s on the romantic shore of Lake Como, opens to the public as the Hotel Regina.

In 2012, after two years of restoration, it became the Grand Hotel Imperiale Resort & SPA that we see today. The latest renovation works were carried out during the pandemic and the resort today has 115 rooms, including 10 suites and 9 rooms in the Imperial Villa, the I-SPA wellness center, the panoramic swimming pool on the lake and a conference center with 6 multipurpose rooms , which is able to host events or conferences for up to 300 participants.

A prestigious location for gala events and banquets, it is also known for the Imperialino Restaurant, marked with 3 red forks in the Michelin guide for over 10 years, and for the Ulivo Restaurant, with a single room overlooking the garden with a capacity of up to 250 people.

These characteristics combined with a privileged position with private access to the lake, the boat stop just a few steps away and the short distance from the airports make it the ideal location for organizing events.

Como è situata nella parte sud del lago, ma è uno dei capoluoghi situati più a nord della regione Lombardia. E’ un centro molto importante per il turismo internazionale ma anche per la sua industria, nella fattispecie della produzione serica comasca.

La seta ed altre meraviglie attraggono i numerosi visitatori da tutto il mondo in tutte le stagioni, rendendo Como una città viva 365 giorni l’anno.

Como è una città capoluogo della provincia omonima; è detta la "Capitale del Lario" e risulta essere il fulcro principale della cosiddetta Lombardia dei laghi. Il centro cittadino sorge sull'estremità meridionale del ramo occidentale del lago di Como, in una piccola conca circondata da boscose colline moreniche. Un luogo davvero panoramico.

Nel giro di pochi chilometri si passa così dall'alta montagna al lago; dalla vallata alpina selvaggia alla collina della Brianza industrializzata; dall'area urbana di Como ai villaggi di poche case; dall'oasi faunistica, a nord, alle piste da sci, a sud.

Como è una città incastonata tra i colori della natura: non solo blu, il capoluogo è un valido punto di partenza per andare alla scoperta delle valli che la circondano. Ok un weekend in città, ma progettare un tour esplorativo in tutta la zona, tra borghi, laghi, montagne e aree verdi, non è per nulla una cattiva idea... anzi.

Como è una città che offre tantissimi eventi di qualsiasi tipo, ma vale la pena citarne alcuni come il Festival Como Città della Musica ovvero un festival organizzato dal Teatro Sociale e dal Comune, dedicato alla musica in generale e che si tiene nei luoghi più belli della città.
