Bolgheri
Bolgheri is one of the trendiest and most chic destinations in Tuscany, just a 15-minute drive from Paradù EcoVillage & Resort. It is a small village in the province of Livorno, located at the end of a scenic tree-lined avenue made famous by the poetry of Giosuè Carducci, and is widely known for the red wines produced in the area—the “SuperTuscans.”
Renowned names such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Masseto, and Guado al Tasso are well known among food and wine lovers and sommeliers alike—but not everyone knows that all of them are produced right here.
In fact, such a concentration of globally recognized labels in such a small area is truly rare, and this is one more reason that draws people to visit Bolgheri. Even if you're not particularly passionate about wine, Bolgheri still has something to offer: whether it’s the narrow streets of the historic village, the castle, or the beauty of its surroundings, you’ll definitely return home satisfied. Lastly, while Bolgheri isn’t technically a seaside town, it lies just 10–15 minutes from the stunning Tyrrhenian Sea.
