LA CENTRALE NUVOLA LAVAZZA
Address: Via Ancona, 11/A - 10152 - Torino (TO)
La Centrale is a former power plant built in 1897 by the Turin engineer Ermenegildo Perini in the Aurora district, just minutes from the historic center of Turin, where one of the first smart areas of Turin has been inaugurated, with low-consumption LED lighting. In the building's redevelopment, entrusted to the CZA studio, industrial archaeology and contemporary forms interact through the use of glass, concrete, and metal, enhancing original elements such as the imposing glass facade and the overhead crane.
La Centrale, with a surface area of approximately 4,500 square meters and various areas with different capacities, is capable of hosting cultural, entertainment, gastronomic, and business events. La Centrale features a hall with a cloakroom/accreditation desk, a central space called "Lo Spazio," which is 1,200 square meters flexible and modular to host large events, two meeting rooms, fully furnished and equipped, and an indoor terrace situated on the second floor.
In "Lo Spazio," the largest area, stages and equipment can be arranged either longitudinally or transversely thanks to the 58 resident engines, for the setup of lighting and video trusses.
On Piazza Verde, a garden open to the city, shared with the Nuvola Lavazza headquarters, where the entrance to the Lavazza Museum is located, there are collective dining spaces, the Bistrot Casa Lavazza, and the Michelin-starred restaurant Condividere.
